Poster with a fantastic abstract work in blue and gray tones by August Strindberg from 1892. The painting is called Storms in the Archipelago. The flying Dutchman and shows Stockholm's archipelago in a dramatic storm (Swedish title Oväder i Skärgården. Den Flygande Holländaren). The agitated blue-green sea meets a blue-black and cloudy storm sky.

The painting was a valve for the emotional chaos that the iconic author and artist August Strindberg experienced during his life. The name "The Flying Dutchman" comes from Richard Wagner's opera about the lonely, eternally wandering skipper and describes the emotional state that August wanted to express.

August Strindberg is considered one of Sweden's most important writers, internationally known primarily as a playwright. Several of his works are considered classics in Swedish literature.

Black collection are selected motifs where we have replaced the white passepartout with a black one to emphasize the motif in a modern and unique way.
