The year is 1944. World War II is in full swing. In Sweden, artist Erikz stands and looks out through the windows of the Bergström villa, which was smashed last night when Russian aerial bombs were dropped on Stockholm.

The Bergströmska villa was an artist's house in the Eriksdal area, Södermalm in Stockholm. The bombings of Stockholm and Strängnäs in 1944 were a military incident when Soviet aircraft bombed several places in Stockholm and eastern Sweden. Whether the bombing took place by mistake or as a provocation and warning, there are divided opinions.
