Canvas with Piet Mondrian's perhaps most famous works, Composition with Red, Blue, and Yellow. Piet Mondrian was a Dutch artist who lived between 1872 and 1944 and is considered one of the greatest artists of the 1900th century. He was a significant pioneer for abstract art and very famous for hisrepositions with geometric shapes and base colors

Piet Mondrian's compositions have inspired several great designers. In the 1930s, Hermès produced bags and suitcases with patterns of Mondrian's red, blue and yellow squares. Yves Saint Laurent launched a Mondrian collection in the 1960s with trendy dresses in the same pattern. The collection became so popular that it inspired a number of other products and was launched in several different imitations by several other fashion companies. Most recently in 2008, Nike launched a pair Dunk Low SB shoes inspired by Mondrian's compositions in white, yellow, red and blue.
