Poster with a photograph of M / S Gripsholm in 1957. In the picture we see the ship arriving at the port of Gothenburg. The tug Leif is visible next to the ship. The maiden voyage from Gothenburg to New York was carried out a little later that year.

M / S Gripsholm was part of the Swedish shipping company Svenska Amerika Linien and had many well-known returning passengers who traveled regularly between Sweden and America. The company's main terminals were in Gothenburg, the so-called American Shelter at Stigbergskajen, and in New York at Pier 97 in Manhattan. The ship was the world's first diesel-powered passenger ship in transatlantic traffic.

The motif is printed on a 200 gram premium paper from one of the world's leading paper manufacturers - Hahnemühle.

The paper is matte and has a warm tone that gives the image a fantastic depth. Thanks to the unbeatable quality of the paper, you can count on a durability of up to 60 years if you expose it sparingly to sunlight and other loads.
