Poster with the painting Our daily bread by the iconic Swedish artist Anders Zorn (English official title: Our Daily Bread).

Our daily bread came about after the National Museum encouraged Zorn to paint a "patriotic" subject. The watercolor shows that Zorn was impressed by the sharply realistic painting of French naturalism, but the motif is taken from Dalarna. The models in the picture are relatives of the artist with his grandmother in the foreground. Zorn let everyone dress in older costumes to create an atmosphere that he remembered from his childhood and that would inspire the result.

Anders Zorn was a significant artist in Sweden and also became successful internationally, not least in the United States, where he was hired to paint portraits of presidents, business leaders and societeten.
