Ted Gärdestad was a Swedish singer who together with his brother Kenneth Gärdestad created several iconic songs such asI want my own moon (Jag vill ha en egen måne), Sun, wind and water (Sol, vind och vatten), The sky is innocently blue (Himlen är oskyldigt blå) and For the sake of love (För kärlekens skull)

Ted participated in the Eurovision Song Contest four times and won in 1979 with the song Satellite
