Poster with a picture of a steam locomotive loaded on an English steamer called Neebing. The locomotive was manufactured by Nydqvist & Holm AB, a company that at the end of the 1800th century manufactured steam locomotives. The company expanded almost continuously until the First World War.

The 1000 locomotives were manufactured in 1912 and in 1920 Nohab received a large order for as many as 1000 locomotives ordered by the Russian SFSR, the "Russian locomotive", which, however, two years later had been reduced to 500 for political reasons. The order, which had a value of SEK 230 million, was the largest to date in Sweden.

The payment was made in 56 tonnes of pure gold. Here at Nydqvist & Holm's newly built quay in Trollhättan, eleven locomotives intended for Russia were loaded at the end of July 1922.
