Wall mural with the painting White Horse at Dusk by Nils Kreuger (1858-1930). Nils Kreuger was a well-known Swedish landscape painter with a background from the Royal Academy of Arts and from a private art school in Paris. The longer Kreuger was active, the more the motives became focused on dusk, rain or fog. His first exhibition was in Paris in 1882.

Kreuger was a supporter of Opponents, a group that opposed the according to them obsolete methods at the Royal Academy and active in the creation of The Swedish Artists' Association.

In 1887, Kreuger returned to Sweden with the goal of finding a quiet place to paint. He settled in Varberg where he together with Richard Berg and Karl Nordström created what would come to be called Varbergsskolan. After a few years, Kreuger moved to Stockholm, where he lived until his death in 1930. Nils Kreuger was a cousin of the famous businessman Ivar Kreuger.
